CODE OF CONDUCT

Our team members will always go over and above to communicate honestly with you in a professional, kind, supportive manner. In support of this, we will not offer any response to rude or aggressive communication. Therefor, we stand behind our team members if they refuse service to you if you are being abusive or aggressive towards them. If in the event there is a miscommunication, rest assured we want to communicate effectively with you to find resolve. Please keep this in mind when deciding how to treat our staff. We are on your side, but you get more bee’s with honey! :D 

 

REFUNDS & DEPOSITS

All payments are 100% non-refundable. All hair extension deposits are 100% non-refundable. Please ensure you are certain of your purchase before you order. Additionally, once the service has been completed, there are no refunds on any aspect of the costs associated with the product and/or service. However, in the event that there is a manufacturer defect, we will look at replacing the hair for you within 30 days of purchase. Please contact us immediately if you are experiencing issues, as we strive for excellence and client happiness! As such, we are always open to finding an amicable solution outside of a refund that will suit your needs.

 

GIFT CARD REFUNDS

Gift cards never expire. Gift cards are non refundable and have no cash value. In the event a refund exemption is made, refunds are only applicable to the amount that was actually paid, not the total gift card value in the event there was a promotion attached to the purchase. Any promotional money added to a gift card, provided by The Extensionist, is intended for use within our salon and has no cash value.

 

PAYMENT PLAN REFUNDS

For those clients using our payment plan service, you are entitled to a refund of any "undelivered service". Once the treatment has been provided and the invoice is closed, all products and services are 100% non-refundable, and all above policies are in effect.

 

RETURNS POLICY

Due to the nature of our products we CANNOT accept the returns of used hair extensions and hair pieces as they are classed as a ‘Hygienic Product’. Here at The Extensionist, we take matters of Hygiene and Public safety extremely serious.

 

PHOTO RELEASE

If you provided verbal consent in salon and subsequently had photos/videos taken of you, you give The Extensionist permission to use any images & video's taken of you at our discretion. Images/video's may be used for promotions and advertising, and you agree to give The Extensionist permission to distribute any of our transformations at our discretion, at any time. If you do not want photos taken, please inform your stylist at the start of your service. 

 

LIABILITY & INDEMNITY

The Extensionist Salons Inc. ensures we are using techniques which do not use adhesives, chemicals, tight braids etc., and have spent countless time and resources to ensure that each installation follows our companies strict and thorough installation procedures to better ensure proper weight distribution for your precious follicles! The health of your hair is of the utmost importance, and is our top priority. However, once you leave our salon, it is now your duty to ensure you are following our hair care guidelines, and taking proper care of your investment, as all hair extensions have the ability to cause damage to the follicles otherwise. Therefor, The Extensionist Salons Inc. is not responsible for the way in which you use any product you purchase from our business. We will not accept responsibility for any damage that may occur after installation of our products or services, as a result of misuse or failure to adhere to our instructions. Lastly, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless The Extensionist Salons Inc. from any and all third party claims, liability, damages and/or costs (including, but not limited to, legal fees) arising from, without limitation, your use of the The Extensionist services, your breach of the Terms of Service, and any defamatory/slanderous statements made by you in any form.

 

WARRANTY

The Extensionist's hair packages are under full manufacturer's warranty for 30 days from the date of installation. If you experience any problems with the hair quality please inform us immediately, as we strive for client happiness and product quality above all else. In the event of manufacturer defect, we have the ability to exchange the hair within 30 days from the date of installation. Outside of this time, please contact us immediately, as we are always interested in finding solutions for our clients. *Please be advised that we do not offer refunds as a resolution to any warranty issues. 

 

WEAR DURATION

You have been made aware of the possible wear duration associated with your chosen hair package. You agree and understand that The Extensionist cannot guarantee that your human hair will last less or more than the possible wear times due to the nature of the human hair industry, though both are possible due to client aftercare, extension colour, and sourcing regions that are out of The Extensionist's direct control. You understand that this is out of our control and you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

 

AFTER CARE & PRODUCTS

You agree to read over the HairBible™ which is located in your deposit receipt, and available to you at any time, at www.theextensionist.ca/hairbibles , and you agree to follow the maintenance guides to ensure you fully understand how to care for your new hair. Additionally, you agree that in the event that you do not purchase the products that your stylist recommends to you for proper extension and/or colour maintenance, that we cannot guarantee our services in any way. This is to ensure that we know that you are using the recommended products in your hair for maximum success and wear duration!

 

CANCELATION & NO SHOW POLICY

The Extensionist has a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. Please allow us 24 hours notice if you need to change or cancel your appointment, or we will be required to add a 50.00 cancellation fee to your account. This gives us the opportunity to fill our schedule with other clients who may be waiting to get in, and it helps respect our staff’s time. You can contact us by phone, or email!

NO SHOWS: Any no shows will incur a 50.00 no-show fee added to your next appointment, and no other appointment can be made without first paying the 50.00 no-show fee.
