With over 16 years of professional mastery, Megan Ledarney is recognized as one of Canada’s foremost experts in advanced hair restoration and extension artistry. As the visionary founder of The Extensionist Salons, and creator of the internationally acclaimed VOGUEPEARL™ method, Megan has elevated the standard of non-damaging, luxury hair enhancement. A licensed Trichologist, Megan’s expertise extends beyond aesthetics — she specializes in clinical hair loss solutions. Her approach combines innovation, precision, and compassion, and FUN, ensuring every transformation is not only beautiful, but restorative. Each appointment with Megan is a unique experience — an intimate collaboration between science and artistry, guided by her commitment to excellence and unparalleled attention to detail. Availability is limited. Megan leaves for maternity leave in May 2026, and will return November 2026.

With over 14 years behind the chair, Schae is known for creating seamless hair transformations. Her work ranges from natural, wearable looks to bold, head-turning styles. She is a true colour specialist and blonde expert, combining technical precision with an artistic eye to deliver customized results, from bright, dimensional blondes to rich brunettes and vibrant, balanced reds.
Schae is highly skilled at identifying the best hair extension and colour solutions for each client, considering hair type, density, lifestyle, and long-term hair health. She is especially experienced working with fine or delicate hair and creating transformative results across both long and short lengths. As a certified VOGUEPEARL™ technician for over a decade and a member of The Extensionist for six years, she brings advanced technical knowledge and refined installation techniques to every service, always prioritizing hair integrity, strength, and continued natural growth.

Shannon joins our Edmonton team with 16 years of industry experience and 4 years at The Extensionist Kelowna location. A licensed stylist with advanced expertise in hair loss replacement, extensions, wigs and toppers, she is known for creating seamless, confidence-restoring transformations. Shannon specializes in dimensional blondes and bold vivid colour work, combining technical precision with a strong artistic eye to deliver results that feel both customized and elevated.
Her talent extends beyond the salon, as she also colours wigs for international brands across the world—bringing global-level artistry to every client she touches. Whether she’s designing a natural, undetectable hair replacement solution or crafting a vibrant, head-turning blonde, Shannon approaches each service with warmth, care, and attention to detail.
